چکیده
Abstract Study question Can the use of a custom-designed and 3D printed microICSI™ device reduce degree oocyte invagination during intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI)? Summary answer Invagination was significantly less in porcine oocytes when ICSI performed compared to conventional ICSI. What is known already difficult procedure for embryologists master, yet until recently, technically little had changed. In particular, holding pipette (HP) with vacuum hold has not been surpassed. However, source shear-stress zona pellucida cytoplasm that occurs microinjection, due pressure against small surface area HP. A recent study demonstrated microinjection within two-piece device. Here we evaluated design refinement displaced more evenly across improve embryo quality. design, size, duration control (conventional ICSI) group (microICSI™) were over three replicates investigating level (3-point score, 1 lowest 3 greatest) Incidence cytoplasmic lysis also recorded 24 h following Participants/materials, setting, methods Porcine collected by follicle aspiration abattoir-sourced ovaries matured 39-44 NCSU-17 medium supplemented eCG, hCG, follicular fluid, EGF insulin. INTRACYTOPLASMIC SPERM INJECTION (lCSI) IN MICE BY A NEW HOLDING PIPETTE
Mice are ideal models for ICSI experiments because of the ease of culturing eggs/embryos in vitro and the availability of ample genetic information. Unfortunately, it has been extremely difficult. In this study we improved the mouse ICSI method by using a new holding pipette that was made of two pipettes such that one pipette was pulled and heat merged into the other one. The outer pipette ...

متن کاملEndometriosis Affects Oocyte Morphology in Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection Cycles?
OBJECTIVE To identify associations between presence of endometriosis and oocyte defects, embryo developmental potential, and cycle outcomes. METHODS This study looked into the impact of endometriosis on oocyte and embryo quality, and blastocyst formation probability. Endometriosis was also correlated with cycle characteristics. In order to avoid age-related bias, in the first analysis only pa...
متن کاملOptimal Timing for Oocyte Denudation and Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection
Objectives. To analyze the impact of oocyte denudation and microinjection timings on intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) outcomes. Study Design. We included ICSI cycles with the following parameters: rank 1 or 2, female age <36 years, male factor infertility, long protocol using GnRH agonist and rFSH for ovarian stimulation, and use of freshly ejaculated sperm (n = 110). Several ICSI parame...
